Talk, sing, write and play; Share a story everyday

‘ello Mate

Greetings from The Land Down Under!

This week we traveled to Australia — more than 9,000 miles from Chicago!

We enjoyed exotic treats including Musk Sticks (tastes like that hard pink bubble gum), Arnott’s Tim Tam cookies (mmmmm… yummy) and vegemite (not so yummy).

We talked about animals, watched this cool video:

sang the Kookaburra song and then made construction paper boomerangs which the children decorated using the concept of aboriginal dot art.
